FLA @ OTT

FLA just blew out Seattle 8-3 and looks dangerous offensively, but they're doing it without Barkov and Marchand — two of their most important players. OTT is quietly building something at home, and Ullmark is in the zone right now.

Ullmark vs. Schmid is not a coin flip — it's a mismatch, and the market hasn't priced it as one. Take OTT at -110 while the value lasts.

Linus Ullmark is the story here. His 0.945 SV% over 7 starts with a 1.29 GAA is Vezina-caliber work. His L5 starts he's held that same 0.944 clip — this isn't a hot streak fading, it's sustained excellence. OTT's 3-1 home record backs him up. FLA is trotting out Akira Schmid, who is sitting at 0.883 SV% — 22 points below league average. In a low-scoring sport where one goalie can swing every game, Ullmark is a massive structural edge at a flat price.

FLA has won three straight and is the hotter team right now. Even without Barkov, Marchand, and Gadjovich, this roster has enough depth to generate offense against an OTT team that just surrendered 7 goals to STL at home and got blanked 3-1 in Philadelphia. OTT's defensive structure is also compromised — Thomas Chabot is out, which is a massive blow to their blue line and power play. FLA's forwards can exploit that gap, and Schmid only needs to be league-average to steal this one.

FLA is missing three forwards — Barkov (IR), Marchand (IR), and Gadjovich (IR) — gutting their top-six depth. OTT loses Chabot (Out) on the back end, weakening their blue line and PP. Neither team is at full strength, but losing a No. 1 center in Barkov hurts more than losing a defenseman when you're already facing an elite goalie.

Dead-even -110/-110 pricing implies a true 50/50. Given the goalie gap and FLA's injury situation, OTT is underpriced. Sharp money should be gravitating here.
