Privacy Policy

• Email addresses. If you sign up for our waitlist, we store your email address. We use it only to notify you about product updates. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for marketing.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymized analytics (page views, feature interactions, session data). This data is used solely to improve the product.

• Payment or financial information — DEBATER is free and we do not process payments.
• Government-issued ID or verified date of birth.
• Personal profiles or betting history.

When you request a debate, the game or player context needed to generate that debate is sent to Anthropic’s API. We do not send your personal information to Anthropic. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies to data processed by their models: anthropic.com/privacy.

PostHog uses local storage to persist a session identifier across page views. We do not set advertising cookies. You can opt out of PostHog analytics by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser.

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is retained per PostHog’s standard retention policy.

You may request deletion of your email address at any time by contacting us at hello@debater.ai. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days.

We may update this policy at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
