MIN has dropped two straight — including a gut-punch OT loss at CLE — and now they're missing Anthony Edwards entirely. LAC is 1-3 and desperate, which doesn't inspire confidence, but a desperate dog getting 6.5 against a shorthanded favorite is exactly the kind of spot the market misprices.

Anthony Edwards is out. Full stop. The house view weights star availability as the single highest-priority factor, and Edwards is the engine of everything MIN does offensively. Without him, MIN's offense loses its primary creator and gravity. LAC is also missing Bradley Beal and Max Strus, but those are role-player-tier losses compared to losing a top-5 offensive weapon. A 6.5-point spread demands the home team be significantly better on the night — that case collapses without Edwards in the lineup.

The Clippers are also missing two rotation pieces in Beal and Strus, limiting their depth.
